This house dates back to 1896 and was one of the first houses build in the Cowichan Valley. It has had many uses like a gardeners-cottage and caretakers house. When we bought the property in 2001 it was used as a storage but we knew right away that this would be perfect for a rental cabin. We started with the renovation in the winter of 2002 and by spring 2003 it was fiinished and ready to go. The upstairs has a comfy livingroom with an old woodstove and makes you feel like a pioneer in the early 1900s. The old style kitchen which is on the same level has all the modern luxeries like a fridge, microwave, topstove and coffeemaker. The lower level has two bedrooms. The larger one has a double bed and the smaller one a bunkbed. The bathroom can be found on that same level to and has a tub.
